I’m not an architect.
I’m not an interior designer.
I’m just an antagonist of cookie cutter homes.
This blog was born after seeing two fugly cookie cutter houses (legit eyesores) in a neighborhood filled with 1900s homes, each with its own unique flavors.
Unfortunately, alot of these historic homes’ layouts weren’t future proof. I love homes that have outward character, but I also like to reimagine home layouts to match modern living.
On this blog, I take historical kit homes, bungalows, every home in between, and rethink their layouts to balance function and livability and personality. Old homes, new ideas.
Hopefully, real estate developers can return to building out of art, and not just profitability.
