This blog was born after seeing two cookie cutter homes (legit eyesores) in a neighborhood filled with early 1900s homes, each with its own unique flavors.
Unfortunately, alot of these old style homes layouts weren’t future proof. I love homes that have outward character, but I also like to reimagine home layouts to match modern living.
On this blog, I take historical kit homes, bungalows, every home in between, and rethink their layouts to balance function and livability and personality. Old homes, new ideas.
